Requirements

  • Expertise in clinical and strategic approaches for market development of innovative medical devices (Aurora™ EV-ICD, Tyrx™ antibacterial envelope, Micra™ leadless pacemaker)
  • Ability to work on a defined geographic zone
  • Knowledge of cardiology, patient selection tools/methods, and recognized indications for the products
  • Strong collaboration skills with field teams, marketing, sales, and key stakeholders (cardiologists, pharmacists, infectiologists, etc.)
  • Proficiency in French (job description in French) and likely English for European collaboration

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement local development plans aligned with national strategy on assigned geographic zone
  • Collaborate with field and marketing teams to qualify and segment implanting centers, then deploy national market development action plans using division programs/tools/resources
  • Adapt and disseminate clinical evidence to implanting physicians and decision-makers to integrate technologies into practices, promoting society recommendations for Micra™, Aurora™, and TYRX™
  • Collaborate with sales to define financing strategies for non-reimbursed products and ensure adoption by stakeholders
  • Identify and engage key opinion leaders favorable to Tyrx™, Aurora™, and Micra™ to promote their use among peers
  • Organize and coordinate promotional events in hospitals to develop healthcare professionals' knowledge of Medtronic technologies, indications, patient benefits, and center value
  • Organize and coordinate regional information meetings and training for field teams
  • Foster collaboration between hospital cardiologists and implanting physicians to identify and manage patients suitable for Micra™ and Aurora™
  • Analyze market trends: adoption levels of indications, market evolution, and center segmentation
  • Track revenues associated with the three product lines in the geographic zone
  • Measure, track, and communicate progress/results of regional initiatives to business and marketing managers
  • Collaborate with French and European marketing by sharing data on technology adoption, care pathways, obstacles, financing, market trends, and competitor activities
  • Participate in European meetings to provide local insights on initiative effectiveness
