  • Conducts complex supplier selection activities and management of formal strategic sourcing and RFx processes, including supplier identification, due diligence, and supplier life-cycle management
  • Identifies relevant stakeholders for sourcing events and manages them as a project team
  • Conducts price and contract negotiations in alignment with business stakeholders and procurement functions
  • Collaborates with and executes guidance from senior sourcing specialists and category managers
  • Champions use of eSourcing, Spend Visibility, and R2P tools; leverages eAuctions where appropriate
  • Resolves quality, supply, or other issues in close collaboration with local and regional stakeholders
  • Performs proposal analysis, including price analyses, “Should Cost” modelling, benchmarking, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
  • Generates proposal/quote comparisons and compiles detailed assessments of cost breakdowns
  • Ensures full documentation (RFQs, contracts, data & price maintenance) at each sourcing project closure
  • Evaluates financial stability of suppliers and manages supplier risks, considering local plans, regulations, and specificities
  • Demonstrates the highest ethical standards and ensures Fresenius procedures are adopted and followed
