Active part of the extended team for assigned country
Provides insights on the local/regional market
Conducts complex supplier selection activities and management of formal strategic sourcing and RFx processes, including supplier identification, due diligence, and supplier life-cycle management
Identifies relevant stakeholders for sourcing events and manages them as a project team
Conducts price and contract negotiations in alignment with business stakeholders and procurement functions
Collaborates with and executes guidance from senior sourcing specialists and category managers
Champions use of eSourcing, Spend Visibility, and R2P tools; leverages eAuctions where appropriate
Resolves quality, supply, or other issues in close collaboration with local and regional stakeholders
Performs proposal analysis, including price analyses, “Should Cost” modelling, benchmarking, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
Generates proposal/quote comparisons and compiles detailed assessments of cost breakdowns
Ensures full documentation (RFQs, contracts, data & price maintenance) at each sourcing project closure
Evaluates financial stability of suppliers and manages supplier risks, considering local plans, regulations, and specificities
Demonstrates the highest ethical standards and ensures Fresenius procedures are adopted and followed
