Requirements

  • Degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, engineering, Industrial Technology, Management Information System, Business & Economic, General Management, or other engineering-related fields (preferable, with sourcing & procurement experience)
  • 4+ years of experience in sourcing and procurement activities, techniques, and transformational improvements in industry or consulting
  • 2+ years of experience with sourcing & vendor management tools and relevant e-Procurement software (e.g., SRM, ARIBA)
  • 2+ years of experience working with procurement contracts and/or contract regulations with related laws in Indonesia (strongly preferred)
  • Working knowledge in Resources industry (utilities, oil & gas, mining, natural resources) and/or Product industry (FMCG, industrial goods, automotive, IT/Hi-Tech)
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office and G Suite
  • Strong consultative, business, and communication skills, plus quantitative ability
  • Proven success in team-oriented environments, collaborative working, and high-quality customer-focused services
  • Superior organizational skills to manage multiple projects with shifting deadlines
  • Comfortable with figures; ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data
  • Solid judgement, ability to make good decisions, and work with numbers
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Understand end-to-end source-to-pay processes (budgeting, planning, sourcing, procurement, payment)
  • Perform spend analysis and understand levers impacting procurement cost savings
  • Identify, track, and report key procurement metrics to reduce costs and improve effectiveness
  • Generate and implement efficient sourcing and category management strategies (e.g., TCO, supplier collaboration, design to cost, risk management, price leverage, organizational design, operating model, global sourcing, digital procurement)
  • Assess and drive transformational improvements across purchasing and sourcing organizations
  • Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking
  • Forecast price and market trends
  • Develop negotiation strategies for procurement processes and contract negotiations to secure profitable deals (time, cost)
  • Seamlessly work with client teams by positioning necessary capabilities to deliver engagements
  • Analyze company spending, supply partnerships/vendors to create new possibilities and cut procurement expenses through cost-effective deals and suppliers with beneficial contracts
