Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience as a solution consultant (or equivalent) at a software company (SaaS preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science or related field
  • Knowledge of industry tools a plus: Workday, Microsoft, UKG, SAP
  • Knowledge or experience in the HR industry a plus
  • Honed communication skills, and comfortability presenting to C-suite and decision makers
  • A self-starter who takes the initiative to get things done
  • Ability to effectively deliver technical components to an audience comprised of varying degrees of technical knowledge
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, information technology, and/or professional services industries would be an asset

Responsibilities

  • Connect with Account Executives and review the top priorities and deal strategies
  • Meet with prospective customers and Account Executives, clarify business requirements and customize value-based demo content appropriately by getting to know client needs and translating them into our solution
  • Recommend best practices to Account Executives and prospective customers alike
  • Work as point person for Account Executives providing best practice solutions, brainstorming, and strategizing the best ways to position our product
  • Relay relevant information you’ve learned in your last client meetings with the product, Customer Success, Professional Services, Operations, and Product Marketing teams
  • Respond to complex RFI/RFP questions that require your product expertise
  • Do some digging into our competition and stay ahead of the game
  • Travel (25-50% of the time) team up with AEs and broader deal teams to deliver meaningful in person presentations
  • Lead pre-sales activities defining challenges, architecting solutions to these challenges, and manage expectations
  • Scope out a deal that is getting close to the finish line and set the prospective customer up for success
