Candidates must be fluent in both English and French and possess a BA/BS in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a solutions architect, data architect, database administrator, or data engineer is required, along with 3 years of technical consulting experience and experience in a lead role for large enterprise analytics projects. Familiarity with the complete data analytics stack, common BI and ETL solutions, and hands-on experience with SQL, Python, Java, and/or Spark are necessary. Extensive knowledge of large-scale database technology and proficiency in implementing Snowflake data security measures and access controls are also essential. Additional desirable qualifications include experience in a product company's services organization, leadership experience in technical projects, industry vertical expertise, application development experience, AWS, Google, or Microsoft Cloud certifications, and Snowflake Snowpro Advanced Certifications.
Solutions Architects will directly engage with customers, advise on Snowflake platform implementations, and demonstrate technical leadership through code development, solution architectures, and implementation recommendations. They will act as trusted advisors to customer executive leadership, extract business requirements, and translate them into well-architected recommendations. Responsibilities include developing future state roadmaps, leveraging best practices to reduce implementation risk, decomposing goals into actionable plans, and collaborating with Snowflake Go-To-Market and product teams to ensure customer alignment. All employees are expected to adhere to confidentiality and security standards for handling sensitive data.
