Candidates should have 12+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role, strong database and data warehouse experience with complex SQL query tuning, and experience with large-scale IaaS platforms like AWS or Azure. Experience implementing ETL pipelines and using AWS services such as S3, Kinesis, EMR, and Data Pipeline is also required. Bonus points for experience with non-relational platforms like Hadoop/HBase and BI/data exploration tools like Tableau.
The Solutions Architect will drive customer enablement and adoption, providing technical guidance and expertise on the Snowflake service. They will lead technical aspects of client data warehouse implementations and onboarding, collaborate with various internal teams, and help clients troubleshoot product implementation. The role involves identifying and triaging issues, gathering product feedback, and contributing to the growth of customer delivery and education teams through documentation and process optimization.
