Requirements

Candidates should possess 5 or more years of experience working on solar construction projects, a strong understanding of rooftop installations, and knowledge of ground-mount and carport commercial PV construction means and methods, preferably. They should also have an understanding of behind-the-meter and utility interconnections, excellent organization and communication skills, and be detail-oriented self-starters. OSHA 10 or 30 certification is preferred, along with a valid driver's license and the ability to climb ladders and access building roofs.

Responsibilities

As a Construction Manager, the individual will collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, and field labor to coordinate activities and ensure alignment with project goals, regularly visiting sites for inspections and meetings. They will conduct quality assurance and safety inspections, plan and execute construction work, manage labor crews and subcontractors, track productivity, and adjust forecasts as needed. The role also involves documenting construction processes and ensuring a safe work environment.
