Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in Software Project Management in the consumer electronics industry with demonstrated expertise in project management methodologies
  • Certified Scrum Master
  • Experience leading scrum teams for at least 3 years
  • Familiarity with audio system technologies commonly deployed on headset, speakers, and microphone products (filters/equalizers, compressor/limiters, noise reduction (conventional/AI based), active noise cancellation, beamforming, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of audio testing methodologies
  • Thorough understanding of the inter-dependencies associated with hardware, embedded software, and desktop or cloud software
  • Superb planning & organization skills
  • Strong leadership, negotiation and communication skills. Experience leading by influence rather than authority. Ability to work across organizations and geographies
  • Proven ability to deal with ambiguity paired with strong problem solving skills on the technology, process, and people fronts
  • Creativity, curiosity, and a passion for technology
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Experience with system level engineering

Responsibilities

  • Work in an Agile software development environment. Operate as a Scrum Master on project teams, working with the Product Owner, and lead scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog grooming, demos, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups)
  • Own and manage project schedule, risks, contingency plan, quality, and execution
  • Exercise knowledge in Software Product Life Cycle and different software development methodologies
  • Apply expertise in audio technologies to drive software architecture, working closely with architects and engineering team leads
  • Keep abreast of technology advancements in your domain, identifying new enablers, evangelizing these, and driving engineering innovation
  • Provide regular communication and reporting. Escalate when project deliverables are at risk, including delivering project status to key project stakeholders and business group leaders
  • Build consensus through strong relationships with key partners and stakeholders such as Design, Product Marketing, Engineering, and QA
  • Support processes and tools that standardize software development activities to increase effectiveness and efficiency. Focus on continuous improvement opportunities
  • Drive the delivery of audio features and functionality on Logitech’s desktop and mobile applications for gaming product line
  • Contribute ideas and provide constructive feedback on the ideas of others by leveraging technical expertise and a network of experts in the engineering team
