Requirements
- 5+ years Scrum Master or Project Management experience with packaged software or custom development
Responsibilities
- Execute role of Agile Scrum Master and guide the software development lifecycle (SDLC) process for systems and product delivery
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
- Coach and mentor the Scrum team on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and continuous improvement
- Partner closely with the Product Owner to ensure a well-defined, prioritized, and groomed backlog that supports business goals
- Remove and address blockers proactively to maintain delivery momentum
- Promote transparency by ensuring team metrics (velocity, burndown, throughput) are tracked, communicated, and used to improve performance
- Shield the team from external interruptions and unnecessary work to protect sprint commitments
- Drive accountability across the team by maintaining clarity on goals, commitments, and definitions of done
- Identify and manage delivery risks, escalating where appropriate, and collaborating on mitigation strategies
- Strengthen collaboration across engineering, product, QA, and business stakeholders
- Support high-quality delivery by encouraging best practices in testing, technical excellence, and incremental value release
- Champion Agile culture within the team and across the broader organization
- Foster continuous learning through retrospectives, experimentation, feedback loops, and process improvements
