Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, along with at least 7 years of experience in software development and at least 2 years in a leadership role. Proficiency in modern web development languages and frameworks such as C#, .Net, and JavaScript is required, alongside strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and the AWS cloud platform. Experience with relational databases like MySQL and ORM frameworks, as well as familiarity with DevOps tools including CI/CD pipelines and Jenkins, is also necessary.

Responsibilities

As a Software Engineering Team Lead, responsibilities include leading and mentoring a team of software engineers, providing performance feedback and career development support, designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable web applications, participating in code reviews, and ensuring best practices for coding, architecture, and security. The role also involves collaborating with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to plan and deliver projects on time and within scope, driving agile processes, leading architectural decisions, implementing best practices for testing, working cross-functionally with other teams, and identifying and mitigating technical risks throughout project development and implementation. Continuous improvement of the codebase, tooling, and development processes, as well as staying current with emerging technologies, are also key responsibilities.
