Responsibilities

The Backend/Infrastructure Engineer will build and evolve the storage layer for Glean's AI-powered knowledge management platform, ensuring high availability, performance, security, and cost-effectiveness. They will own storage systems for sensitive data, enabling millions of searches and workflows, and deliver robust uptime guarantees, autoscaling, and reliable alerting/monitoring across multiple cloud providers. Responsibilities include owning infrastructure problems from inception to launch, writing design documents and code, collaborating with the team to prioritize roadmap projects, and mentoring junior engineers.
