Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience designing, building, and managing Azure cloud environments in enterprise settings
  • Strong expertise in role-based access controls, network architecture, and cloud security best practices
  • Experience with Azure Policy, governance, and automation (ARM templates, Bicep, Terraform, or equivalent)
  • Hands-on experience in automation and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) for cloud environments
  • Familiarity with monitoring/telemetry solutions (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights)
  • Proven ability to design and manage cost control and chargeback models within Azure
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across engineering, operations, and security teams
  • Bachelor’s Degree, in lieu of a degree, demonstrating in addition to the minimum years of experience required for the role, three years of specialized training and/or progressively responsible work experience in technology for each missing year of college

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and operationalize an Azure Landing Zone to support enterprise-scale workloads
  • Develop and enforce role-based access controls (RBAC) to ensure secure identity and access management
  • Architect and maintain network design that supports scalability, performance, and security
  • Define and apply Azure Policies and guardrails to enforce compliance and governance
  • Build hydration automation to streamline landing zone deployment and configuration
  • Establish robust telemetry and monitoring for observability, incident response, and continuous improvement
  • Implement cost management and chargeback models to optimize cloud spend and promote accountability across business units
