Requirements

Experience with analytical and programming skills and open-source systems such as Apache Storm, Apache Spark, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, Graph DB etc. to develop data processing pipelines with required efficacy and latency
Good knowledge and experience of big data tool sets and techniques of distributed storage and computation engine
Experience developing reusable and highly scalable data processing components
Good knowledge and experience working with cloud-based CI/CD tools and cloud DevOps teams to collect stats and create monitors for data processing pipelines
Knowledge of APIs to various NoSQL storage systems, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, and Redis, etc
Good understanding of Python Flask web service and ability to develop good quality code
Knowledge to troubleshoot production environment and customer-reported issues
Experience dealing with huge amounts of data generated by communication protocols
Knowledge of wireless communication networks, machine learning, and software engineering to develop and implement scalable algorithms for processing large amounts of streaming data in real-time

Responsibilities

Collaborate with other engineers and product managers to build the next generation of autonomous Wi-Fi networks leveraging big data and predictive models (40% - data processing pipeline development)
Develop and implement scalable algorithms to process large amounts of streaming data to detect anomalies, predict problems, and classify them in real-time
Leverage data collected from the Wi-Fi network to empower the inference engine of the Mist platform and systems, including the Mist virtual assistant chat bot
Determine the likelihood of failures across the Wi-Fi network and perform failure scope analysis
Develop good quality Python APIs to support micro services (40%)
Troubleshoot production environment and customer-reported issues (20%)
