Angi® is seeking an exceptional Staff Machine Learning Engineer to join our Data Science and Machine Learning team. This technical leadership position involves tackling complex challenges such as homeowner-pro search ranking and leveraging predictive models to enhance our platform. The ideal candidate will apply state-of-the-art machine learning and AI techniques to solve Angi’s marketplace problems, demonstrating proficiency in software engineering. This role requires close collaboration with the platform team to deploy models and services at scale with low latencies.

What You’ll Do

• Model Development: Lead development of advanced machine learning and AI models to improve our marketplace algorithms (e.g. search ranking, recommendation and matching solutions).
• Model Deployment and Engineering: Design and architect robust MLOps practices to ensure the seamless deployment and scalability of machine learning models. This includes automating model training, optimizing runtime performance of models, and deployment processes.
• Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with a strong team of engineers, data scientists, and product managers to build scalable and high-impact machine learning systems. Collaborate on the end-to-end development process, from ideation to deployment.
• Innovation: Develop innovative machine learning solutions to improve the Angi platform.
