Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with over 3 years of software development experience in languages like Go, Python, Ruby, or Java. A minimum of 1 year of experience in cloud platforms, infrastructure, and DevOps is required, along with deep experience architecting solutions on cloud-based infrastructure and secure networks in public clouds. Experience in delivering and refining CI/CD pipelines, working with Linux, and using infrastructure-as-code tools such as CDK, Cloudformation, Terraform, or Pulumi is essential. Familiarity with container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes, AWS EC2 Container Service, or Docker, and strong experience with monitoring and logging tools like DataDog, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK are also necessary. Database management experience, particularly with PostgreSQL or ClickHouse, is a plus.

Responsibilities

The Software Engineer will lead the design and implementation of secure, fault-tolerant, and robust cloud infrastructure on public cloud services. They will directly contribute through hands-on coding to develop software tools and implement automation processes, and plan/execute infrastructure upgrades and changes for faster execution, improved scale, and cost efficiency. This role involves leading the evolution of CI/CD pipelines, monitoring system infrastructure using tools like DataDog and Sentry, and defining/maintaining runbooks and operating procedures. Additionally, the engineer will mentor and support the development team, acting as a force multiplier, and embrace a startup culture by being adaptable and comfortable with ambiguity.
