Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree (B.S/B.A) from a four-college or university and 0 to 2 years’ related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. They must demonstrate an understanding of various development programs, the ability to quickly learn customer support processes, tools, and techniques, excellent communication skills in English (both speaking and writing), and the ability to collaborate and work remotely utilizing communication tools. A strong understanding of monitoring systems and attention to detail are also required.
The Software Engineer I will design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs for enhancements and new products, as well as develop software and tools in support of design, infrastructure, and technology platforms. They will assist in the design, development, coding, testing, and debugging of system software, review code and design, assist with configuring and integrating third-party software components and technologies, perform root cause analysis of network, operating system, and other issues, address and resolve software bugs, assist with test documentation, work with stakeholders and cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives, and provide limited after-hours and on-call support as needed.
