United States Citizenship required
Current Secret level U.S. Government Security Clearance required (TS level also considered; Active TS/SCI with polygraph mentioned)
At least 5 years of experience in Software Engineering with Modern Java Frameworks and Libraries (e.g., Spring, Guava) and a Bachelor's in related field; or 3 years relevant experience with Master's in related field; or High School Diploma/equivalent and 9 years relevant experience
Must be able to obtain DoD 8140 / 8570 compliance certifications (i.e., Security+)
Must be able to work in a hybrid environment, spending an average of 1-2 days per week at Greenville, SC office (flexibility essential)
Strong working knowledge and experience developing Java-based software capabilities
Inquisitive nature, responsiveness, and excellent testing skills
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure with multiple deadlines
Experience in designing enterprise APIs
Experience in RESTful web services
Experience in Microservices architecture
Experience in Object Oriented Programming (OOP) paradigms
Experience with the agile software lifecycle
Proven ability to learn quickly and work well independently and in a team
Experience with the Linux operating system
Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Git, Nexus, Maven)

Responsibilities

Designing, developing, and implementing complex software capabilities for computer-based systems
Working closely with other engineers to create software solutions that meet client needs
Staying up-to-date with modern tools and technologies
Delivering high-quality software solutions in a dynamic, collaborative, fast-paced team environment
