Requirements

  • Associate degree in related field or equivalent military education and a minimum 1 year of experience servicing medical equipment; OR a participant in the GEHC Apprenticeship, Internship or Military Externship Program; OR High School diploma/GED and a minimum 3 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with Web applications as well as Microsoft suite of products
  • Ability to be available after hours and/or work a rotating on-call schedule including weekends
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, competing priorities while maintaining customer satisfaction
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship)
  • Willingness to work onsite in the Greenville, SC area
  • Ability to lift, carry, push and pull up to 35 lbs. unassisted and frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit and stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to reach at, above and below shoulder level, flex/extend neck and have good hand and finger dexterity

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate customer biomedical equipment issues, implement appropriate repairs, and perform planned maintenance and safety/environmental inspections to support customers’ ability to deliver healthcare
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and hospital protocols to ensure regulatory and compliance requirements are met; ensure documentation of all work performed is captured
  • Maintain strong relationships and frequent communications with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up, and ongoing customer satisfaction
  • Maintain proper care of tools and test equipment to ensure calibration and ability to deliver timely and accurate repairs/maintenance
  • Identify and report all customer quality or compliance concerns immediately to the Quality Organization to ensure services are provided with the highest ethical standards
  • Respond to service calls within a hospital or healthcare system in South Carolina
