Requirements

Associate degree in related field or equivalent military education and a minimum 1 year of experience servicing medical equipment; OR a participant in the GEHC Apprenticeship, Internship or Military Externship Program; OR High School diploma/GED and a minimum 3 years of relevant experience
Experience with Web applications as well as Microsoft suite of products
Ability to be available after hours and/or work a rotating on-call schedule including weekends
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, competing priorities while maintaining customer satisfaction
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship)
Willingness to work onsite in the Greenville, SC area
Ability to lift, carry, push and pull up to 35 lbs. unassisted and frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit and stand for long periods of time
Ability to reach at, above and below shoulder level, flex/extend neck and have good hand and finger dexterity

Responsibilities

Evaluate customer biomedical equipment issues, implement appropriate repairs, and perform planned maintenance and safety/environmental inspections to support customers’ ability to deliver healthcare
Adhere to company policies, procedures, and hospital protocols to ensure regulatory and compliance requirements are met; ensure documentation of all work performed is captured
Maintain strong relationships and frequent communications with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up, and ongoing customer satisfaction
Maintain proper care of tools and test equipment to ensure calibration and ability to deliver timely and accurate repairs/maintenance
Identify and report all customer quality or compliance concerns immediately to the Quality Organization to ensure services are provided with the highest ethical standards
Respond to service calls within a hospital or healthcare system in South Carolina
