Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience or a Master’s degree with 4 years of experience. They should have expertise in server-side and client-side technologies, proficiency in Java, Oracle DB, NoSQL, NodeJS, HTML, Javascript, and CSS, and a strong understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies. Experience in the advertising domain is a plus, along with a portfolio or work samples demonstrating coding skills. Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills are required, as well as the ability to think creatively and solve real-world problems.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Engineer on the Ads team, the individual will design, develop, and implement testing practices to develop and maintain quality standards for company products. They will collaborate with various teams to build solutions integrating with multi-functional components, lead and estimate engineering effort, plan implementations, and rollout applications. The role involves designing, developing, and testing major features, utilizing various technologies, and identifying project risks to mitigate them. They will also participate in all phases of the software development process, including requirement/design reviews and code reviews, and contribute to release management duties for feature rollouts. Furthermore, they will share release management duties on feature rollouts, identify and help fix stability/scalability issues, and mentor junior team members.
