The Software Engineer II, Backend will design, develop, test, and scale backend services and APIs powering Flex's products, partner experiences, and internal platforms. This includes implementing service APIs for mobile and web apps, building resilient systems, and translating feature requirements into technical specifications. The role involves owning the full lifecycle of services, collaborating with cross-functional teams, leading API design and implementation, contributing to service-oriented architecture, and ensuring service observability and availability through monitoring and CI/CD practices.
