Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Computer Vision, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, along with 3-5 years of industry experience. They must have deep knowledge of Amazon’s AWS ecosystem, including EKS, S3, SQS, RDS, Cognito, Lambda, and proficiency in Python and Go (Golang). Experience with relational, time series, and document databases, including SQL, is also required, as well as proven problem-solving skills and knowledge of best practices in designing web services and APIs.

Responsibilities

The Software Engineer, Backend at Hayden AI will define, build, and operate the next generation of the backbone for the company’s services architecture, build and operate the CI/CD system for physical devices and cloud services, use infrastructure as code to operate multi-region AWS deployments at scale, practice and enforce DevOps, SRE, and Security practices, and work cross-functionally to gather requirements and develop technical solutions. They will also model best practices in the team, raise the bar on incident prevention and remediation, and be comfortable working in an agile, fast-paced environment.
