Requirements

Candidates should have 3+ years of hands-on experience writing in Golang, 5+ years of hands-on experience as an engineer, and experience building embedded software architecture. Extensive experience with AWS services like Dynamodb, SQS, AWS Lambda, EC2, and Cloudformation is required, with some experience in Python being a plus.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Backend Engineer, the candidate will be responsible for helping design, test, and implement the core software that powers the company’s controls in 7500+ buildings and the serverless cloud infrastructure. They will contribute to the core Golang app and infrastructure, write code to efficiently process billions of data points per year, and advise on HR-related risk mitigation strategies. They will also mentor and coach junior engineers, and work with property companies to effectively run their building systems more efficiently.
