Requirements

Candidates must have practical experience working with Python in back-end applications and unit-testing know-how. Familiarity with Data Science and ML basics, the SDLC, and CI/CD pipelines is required. Experience building the backend of an ad platform or a reporting platform, as well as experience with Timestream, Elasticsearch, Snowflake, event-driven architecture, ML at scale, Web APIs, Terraform, or the AWS CDK are considered bonus points.

Responsibilities

The Ads Engineer will innovate within Eventbrite's consumer-facing ads product, creating value for both event creators and consumers. They will contribute to the development of Eventbrite's in-house ad platform, working with AWS technologies such as Lambdas, ECS and Fargate, Serverless Aurora, API Gateway, Terraform, Docker, and Kinesis. The role involves collaborating with diverse teams, sharing knowledge, and mentoring others to foster technical excellence and a positive company culture.
