Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in SRE (Site Reliability Engineering), DevOps, or platform engineering roles
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized applications
  • 2+ years of Go development experience, with proficiency in one or more additional languages: C++, Python, or Java
  • Hands-on experience with industry-standard Observability tools like PagerDuty, Grafana, and Splunk

Responsibilities

  • Engineer and maintain solutions for building and operating Kubernetes clusters at scale
  • Engineer and maintain solutions for modeling and orchestrating applications on Kubernetes clusters
  • Provision Edge Routing, Security, and Caching services for Internet-facing applications
  • Provide infrastructure support to troubleshoot incidents affecting applications and services hosted in Kubernetes clusters, in partnership with infrastructure teams and vendors
  • Use and configure industry-standard Observability tools for monitoring and troubleshooting applications and services
  • Innovate by creating automation solutions to enhance operational efficiency and scale of technology workstreams and team processes
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary agile team to engineer solutions to scale and operate cloud-native web applications in collaboration with developers and stakeholder groups
