Requirements
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in a related field such as computer science or computer engineering, or have equivalent industry experience and contributions. A strong desire to learn and build industry-defining technology is essential, along with excellent software engineering fundamentals, preferably in a strongly typed language like C++ or Rust. The ability to work effectively in fast-paced, collaborative environments and autonomously is also required. Experience working on a SaaS product in a small team or on a distributed team will be considered an advantage.
Responsibilities
The Software Engineer will take ownership of the design, development, and maintenance of mission-critical software systems, utilizing cutting-edge technologies to solve complex problems. This role involves driving technical innovation and collaborating with product and platform teams to develop dbt Cloud, build next-generation UI components, and platform features. Engineers will work with a variety of programming languages, systems, and technologies, including Python, Go, Postgres, Kubernetes, and AWS.
