Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field, and be eligible for a TS/SCI clearance with the willingness to obtain a polygraph. They should currently hold, or be able to attain, DoD 8570 IAT II and CSSP Infrastructure Support certifications (CompTIA CySA+ preferred or equivalent certifications acceptable such as both Security+ and Cloud+) within 30 days of contract start. Strong experience with software development in classified environments using Linux, PHP, JavaScript and associated frameworks (NextJS, React, etc), Python and associated frameworks (e.g., Django), and REST API development is required. Expertise in Bash scripting and automation tools like Ansible is also necessary, along with demonstrated technical writing skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
The Software Engineer will design, develop, test, and document new system capabilities or enhancements to existing systems, support and maintain existing infrastructure and applications, integrate new data sources into secure mission systems, perform database management, system configuration, load balancing, storage allocation, and documentation validation, automate operations in cloud and Linux-based environments, conduct system-level integration of software components to meet customer requirements, and create and execute system testing. They will also participate in quarterly Agile Development Planning and customer meetings as needed.
