Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering with a Software focus, or a related field. Proficiency in computer skills and the ability to learn new applications quickly are essential. Working knowledge of SQL and/or Python is preferred, along with strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. The ideal candidate is intrinsically motivated, takes initiative, identifies needs, implements improvements, and evaluates their effectiveness, demonstrating exceptional interpersonal skills, tact, and the ability to influence others, manage conflict, and exercise sound judgment.

Responsibilities

Software Developers will execute the full software development life cycle (SDLC), developing server-side code for high-volume web-based applications and creating web user interfaces using Javascript, HTML, and CSS. They will utilize object-oriented programming languages like Python, C#, or Java to build scalable automation solutions, interpret data using SQL, and modify XML data with XPATH and XSLT. Responsibilities include documenting tasks, participating in code reviews, developing and executing test plans, performing load testing, implementing changes, and validating features. Developers will also stay current with emerging technologies, identify system performance improvements, develop monitoring tools, troubleshoot existing systems, conduct root cause analysis, and work with experienced team members.
