Candidates should have 7+ years of software engineering experience and a genuine passion for Generative AI technologies. Strong proficiency in Go or another modern backend programming language, deep understanding of cloud-native architectures and microservices, and experience with AWS services like S3, Bedrock, Sagemaker, and RDS are required. Practical knowledge of operating production services including CI/CD, monitoring with Grafana and Prometheus, and Kubernetes is necessary, along with a strong grasp of multithreading, concurrency, and parallel processing. Experience with LLM integrations, AI/ML platforms, message queues, event-driven architectures, and designing/maintaining APIs aligned with industry standards is also needed. Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills, along with a self-starter mentality, are essential.
The Software Backend Engineer will design and implement scalable cloud services using Go, build reusable platform components and frameworks for GenAI and agentic AI use-cases, and develop/operate secure LLM deployments in cloud and on-prem environments. They will create deep integrations with internal enterprise systems, build high-performance data processing pipelines for retrieval-augmented generation, and engineer agentic workflows and autonomous agent capabilities. The role involves engaging with internal users to understand requirements, providing technical consultation, and owning features end-to-end from design through deployment and operation, including on-call responsibilities. The engineer will also drive innovation in the Generative AI landscape.
