Candidates should have a degree in Engineering or a related field and experience in automated electronic assembly process engineering. Expertise in SMT equipment programming and knowledge of PCB assembly and continuous improvement methodologies such as lean manufacturing and Six Sigma is required.
The Manufacturing Engineer will develop, implement, and optimize automated electronic assembly processes for SMT production lines. They will program and maintain SMT equipment, analyze manufacturing processes, and ensure compliance with IPC standards. Additionally, they will conduct root cause analysis for defects, collaborate with various teams to improve production metrics, and develop work instructions and SOPs.
