Responsibilities
Turn raw materials into intermediate products used by packing for finished products
Mix dry or wet ingredients for placement into bottles, capsules, or containers that are labeled and packed
Participate on a team to pack products received from making areas (e.g., liquid, powder, capsules, pills) that get labeled and packaged, or finished products (e.g., brush, floss, paste, refills, razors) that get packaged manually or with machines/robots
Act as System Owner or Equipment Owner for the operational area
Operate and maintain equipment in the assigned area
Enable production throughput and reduce equipment downtime
Troubleshoot issues and eliminate defects
Build technical mastery through initiating and implementing continuous improvement projects to deliver the best product at the lowest cost with highest quality in a safe environment
Maintain and troubleshoot high-speed packing, process, and other machinery and equipment
Perform preventive maintenance and calibrations on equipment
Monitor and improve equipment and systems
Analyze trends and technical data to proactively identify issues
Build technical skills in others
Operate and maintain high-speed automated equipment, computer systems, or product distribution systems
