Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of a wide range of equipment, including electrical, mechanical, temperature, pressure, or laboratory instruments.
  • Maintain and update calibration logs, certificates, and documentation in accordance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17025, FDA, GMP).
  • Troubleshoot equipment and measurement discrepancies; address minor repairs or bring up issues as needed.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to schedule and prioritize equipment maintenance with minimal disruption to operations.
  • Ensure that maintenance procedures are followed accurately and updated when necessary.
  • Assist with audits and ensure all calibration records are readily available for review.
  • Maintain a clean and organized laboratory and workspace.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to calibration practices and systems.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in equipment maintenance and calibration within an engineering role.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements such as ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17025, FDA, and GMP.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to make minor repairs.
  • Outstanding organizational skills with a strict attention to detail.
  • Ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with internal departments.
  • Ambitious and driven to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
  • Diploma in Engineering or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
