Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, and have at least 3 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, with a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and deployment practices. Experience with AWS, Kubernetes (EKS), and monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Grafana, Pingdom, and PagerDuty is essential, as is familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using CircleCI. Proficiency in TypeScript and Rust is desired, along with knowledge of data pipeline technologies like Airflow and Spark.

Responsibilities

The Site Reliability Engineer at Radar will be responsible for maintaining and improving the production infrastructure, deploying and managing applications on AWS via EKS, configuring and monitoring systems using CloudWatch and Grafana, and ensuring the stability and performance of the Radar platform. They will also contribute to infrastructure automation using Terraform, participate in on-call rotations, and collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues, while also actively participating in the design and implementation of new features and improvements to the system.
