The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business / Management Information Systems, or a related field, and typically have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Experience with Public and Private Clouds, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, OpenShift, Kubernetes, or AWS EKS is preferred.
This Site Reliability Engineer will be responsible for availability, latency, performance, efficiency, change management, monitoring, emergency response, and capacity planning. They will participate in chaos engineering, pushing systems to their limits, and developing systems to increase site reliability and performance. The role involves safeguarding reliability, ensuring high availability and resilience, running “game days,” reviewing designs for stability, building monitoring systems, troubleshooting systems and network issues, evolving the SDLC, developing runbooks and improving documentation, and proactively monitoring system health and security.
