Software Engineer, Simulation
AeroVectFull Time
Mid-level (3 to 4 years), Senior (5 to 8 years)
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field, with a strong understanding of electromagnetics, particularly Maxwell's equations and the underlying physical mechanisms. Experience with high-frequency electromagnetics, including radio antenna design, induction heating processes, and wireless charging systems is essential. Familiarity with CAE software and HPC/cloud resources is also required.
The Simulation Engineer will work closely with data scientists and machine learning engineers to develop an understanding of physics and engineering challenges, set up and build multi-physics models to simulate complex phenomena, automate simulation pipelines for optimization, use HPC and cloud resources to accelerate simulations, own technical work streams, and deliver accurate results in conjunction with machine learning models. They will also continuously apply engineering best practices and standards, and potentially mentor junior colleagues.
