Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field, with strong proficiency in C++ and Python. Familiarity with Linux, standard software development processes, simulation and testing tools such as NVIDIA Omniverse, Applied Intuition, or Foretellix, and the V model, particularly in Verification & Validation, is required. Experience with automated testing, data analysis, CI/CD, and excellent communication and collaboration skills are also necessary. A Master's degree in Computer Science or Robotics, experience with autonomous vehicle software stacks like ROS/ROS2, and testing/simulation experience in high-complexity, safety-critical systems are preferred.

Responsibilities

The Software Engineer, Simulation will develop and maintain simulation test strategies and frameworks for autonomous driving, and design, implement, and execute simulation models and test suites. Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to define key metrics and ensure system reliability, automating simulation tests within CI pipelines for comprehensive coverage, and analyzing simulation data to drive performance improvements. The role also involves optimizing test and simulation environments for scale and efficiency, and maintaining best practices in test design, documentation, and validation.
