Requirements

Customer service experience: 1 year in a retail or restaurant environment
Availability: Available to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays
Compliance: Meet store operating policies and standards, including providing quality beverages and food products, cash handling, and adhering to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines

Responsibilities

Customer Service: Delivering legendary customer service to all customers by acting with a customer comes first attitude and connecting with the customer
Operational Execution: Executes store operations during scheduled shifts, organizing opening and closing duties as assigned
Team Support: Assists with new partner training by positively reinforcing performance and providing respectful coaching
Communication: Communicates information to the manager so that the team can respond to customer and store needs, creating a positive Third Place environment
Feedback: Provides feedback to the store manager on partner performance during shift
Teamwork: Contributes to a positive team environment by recognizing changes in partner morale and performance and communicating them to the store manager
Training & Development: Develops positive relationships with shift team by understanding and addressing individual motivation, needs, and concerns. Creates a positive learning environment by providing clear, specific, timely, and respectful coaching and feedback to partners
Cash Management: Follows all cash management and cash register policies and ensures proper cash management practices are followed
Recognition: Recognizes and reinforces individual and team accomplishments
Compliance: Follows Starbucks operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety and security
Attendance: Maintains regular and punctual attendance
