Responsibilities

  • Customer Service: Delivering legendary customer service to all customers by acting with a customer comes first attitude and connecting with the customer
  • Operational Execution: Executes store operations during scheduled shifts, organizing opening and closing duties as assigned
  • Team Support: Assists with new partner training by positively reinforcing performance and providing respectful coaching
  • Communication: Communicates information to the manager so that the team can respond to customer and store needs, creating a positive Third Place environment
  • Feedback: Provides feedback to the store manager on partner performance during shift
  • Teamwork: Contributes to a positive team environment by recognizing changes in partner morale and performance and communicating them to the store manager
  • Training & Development: Develops positive relationships with shift team by understanding and addressing individual motivation, needs, and concerns. Creates a positive learning environment by providing clear, specific, timely, and respectful coaching and feedback to partners
  • Cash Management: Follows all cash management and cash register policies and ensures proper cash management practices are followed
  • Recognition: Recognizes and reinforces individual and team accomplishments
  • Compliance: Follows Starbucks operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety and security
  • Attendance: Maintains regular and punctual attendance
