Knowledge of food safety regulations and restaurant health codes is required, as well as the ability to handle high-stress situations and make quick decisions. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays is necessary.
The Shift Supervisor will supervise and motivate the entire restaurant team while delegating tasks to ensure efficient and cooperative work. They will conduct pre-shift meetings to communicate daily goals and updates. Outstanding guest service must be ensured by addressing concerns and monitoring feedback. Operational tasks, including opening and closing procedures, will be managed efficiently. The Shift Supervisor will oversee food preparation and presentation, enforce food safety standards, and conduct regular cleanliness checks. They will also train new team members, provide ongoing coaching, and act decisively in emergency situations. Additionally, they will promote daily specials and upsell menu items to maximize revenue.
