Candidates must possess at least 8 years of technology consulting experience, with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) experience in large-scale implementations. A Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant Certification and Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist Certification are required. Deep expertise in Journey Builder, Email Studio, Contact Builder, and Automation Studio is essential, along with a strong understanding of AMPscript, SSJS, API integrations, and data extensions. The ability to design and implement multi-channel customer journeys is also a requirement.
The SFMC Solutions Architect will collaborate with senior leaders to assess marketing operations and identify SFMC optimization opportunities, leading workshops to define project scope, data architecture, and automation goals. They will translate business requirements into scalable SFMC architectures, drive platform adoption through strategic roadmaps, and oversee end-to-end SFMC implementations including multi-channel journey orchestration, data integrations, and personalization strategies. Responsibilities also include guiding the configuration of various SFMC studios, ensuring data compliance and security, and staying abreast of MarTech trends to recommend innovations and mentor client teams.
