Requirements

Candidates should possess 10+ years of progressive experience in the payments and settlement domain, with a proven history of leading successful digitalization initiatives. They must have extensive knowledge of payment and settlement processes, encompassing operational, regulatory, and technological complexities, and hands-on experience with emerging real-time settlement technologies. Furthermore, experience within a bank settlements team (FX/MM/Derivatives) or with an industry settlement utility is preferred, along with experience in change/project management and successful collaboration with management and senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

The Settlements Lead, Product Design will lead the development and continuous enhancement of the settlement solution, anticipating and addressing evolving market dynamics and regulatory changes. They will forge strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, including custodians and CSDs, to ensure seamless interoperability, track usage and costs, and drive R&D efforts for operational efficiency. The role also involves designing roadmaps and strategies to deliver iterative value to the customer base, cultivating strategic relationships with key industry players, and championing digitalization strategies to optimize settlement processes.
