Requirements

  • Degree in Bio-medical engineering, Electronics, Mechanics, Computer engineering or other related specialties, and experience in Clinical diagnostic product service
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin
  • Team player with own initiative who focuses on problem-solving skills
  • Ability to comfortably work in an environment of change and continuing organizational evolution by being flexible and adaptable to changing conditions

Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver excellent customer support and servicing on Leica products to academic research, pharmaceutical, and clinical diagnostic customers in ID, PH, HKTW, and other SEA regions as needed
  • Personally provide technical support on site or via phone, email, and remote support for digital pathology products, advanced staining products, and core histology range
  • Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of systems with full technical background, proper tools, and understanding of standard processes
  • Lead team to achieve annual service strategies and goals through management of FSEs and Channel Partner Associates in indirect markets
  • Develop commercial programs and area service plans in close conjunction with the service leadership team in APAC / GM SEAHKTW to support and grow customers
  • Provide direction, leadership, coaching, and mentoring for FSEs; advance professional development, conduct, service effectiveness, and efficiency of staff
  • Manage distributor service effectively, build and track FSEs competency and customer satisfaction in distributor service areas
  • Drive service as a business; develop a region-specific service strategy; track progress using DBS tools, minimizing customer downtime and generating revenue opportunities
  • Engage and lead the team to achieve and exceed individual quarterly and annual sales quota, strategic, and service objectives
  • Manage, coach, mentor, and lead a team of Field Service Engineers and service admin; translate strategies into actionable tactics
  • Define the service strategy in conjunction with GM SEAHKTW; improve customer satisfaction, drive service profitability, and support growth of LBS business
  • Provide post-sales support: up service quality in the market; deliver outstanding customer service promptly and efficiently for all product lines
  • Work with stakeholders to provide customer/CP/FSE support and FSE training
