Deep knowledge of Northern Trust’s Outsourced Chief Investment Officer (OCIO) model
Ability to serve as an extension of a Finance & Investment Committee
Strong understanding of nonprofit investment strategies and trends
Demonstrated experience in lead generation, prospect cultivation, and new client acquisition
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to consult directly with boards, committees, and professional staff
Responsibilities
Conduct outreach calling activity to foundations, endowments, and nonprofit organizations
Increase market awareness of the Foundation and Institutional Advisory Team
Collaborate with organizations to develop customized investment strategies
Consult with boards, committees, and professional staff on investment strategies, including cash management, endowment best practices, and charitable giving
Utilize Northern Trust resources and subject matter experts (SMEs) to engage prospective clients
Lead the sales process to convert prospects into profitable client relationships
