Candidates should possess an MBA or graduate degree, along with a Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, finance, pre-law, or a related field, and a minimum of 5 years of directly relevant work experience in Technology, Vendor Management, Vendor Strategy, Technology Procurement, or Technology Business Operations Management. Strong knowledge of standard contract processes, structures, and key terms is required, as is familiarity with Technology contract Data Protection and Security key terms. Experience directly with Hardware, Software, Cloud/IaaS, and Security sourcing, including negotiating strategic multi-year contracts with Tier 1 Technology suppliers, is also necessary.
The Senior Vendor Business Manager will serve as a member of the Vendor Business Management team, building relationships with technology executives and managing multiple vendor contracts, including renewals, spend, and terms to maximize NIKE investments. They will leverage data and market research to drive recommendations and execution, collaborate with Technology Stakeholders, and work in partnership with Vendor Strategy, Performance Management, and Partnerships and Innovation to ensure NIKE leverages the right partner with the right terms at the right price. The role involves overseeing the contract lifecycle, ensuring activities are executed to the highest standard, and collaborating with Procurement, Legal, Technology Modernization, and Finance team members to drive successful outcomes.
