Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field, and 2–4 years of experience in procurement, process operations, or approvals, with a comprehensive understanding of the full Purchase Order (PO) lifecycle. Additionally, candidates should have 2–4 years of experience leading or supporting process improvements within a large, cross-functional organization, and 1–2 years of experience presenting to senior leaders. Strong data fluency, including proficiency in Excel and Power BI, is required, along with a practical, business-first mindset focused on outcomes like margin, risk reduction, and inventory efficiency.
As a Senior Business Operations Manager - Procurement (Approvals), the individual will evaluate and approve a high volume of purchase orders for both domestic and international vendors, serving as the key decision-maker on complex and high-value orders. They will analyze historical and forward-looking data using tools like Power BI and Excel to assess risk, enhance profit margins, and optimize inventory levels, proactively identifying trends and inefficiencies. The role involves collaborating with Merchandising, Planning, and Finance teams to address root causes and implement lasting solutions, acting as a central point of contact between key departments to ensure a seamless PO submission and approval process. They will also champion best practices, develop documentation, onboard and coach new team members, provide expert guidance on workflow optimization, generate and analyze reports on PO approval trends, and support strategic business decisions.
