Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and/or appropriate experience
  • 3-5 years’ experience working in software development or software testing/Quality Assurance
  • Recommended 2 years testing voice (IVR), web (IWR), and mobile (IMR) platforms
  • Some experience with testing automation
  • Strong ability to understand technical software concepts and comfortable interacting with databases
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment (preferred)
  • Previous experience managing the testing phase of a project
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Good communication skills
  • High-level of attention to detail with excellent organizational skills and a proven ability to multi-task
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with a wide variety of professionals

Responsibilities

  • Testing through the entire lifecycle of a project, including test case development, execution, and verification
  • Tracking and reporting software defects, along with verifying resolved issues in ticket tracking application
  • Assist in on-going process improvement for test case management
  • Provide the project team with testing progress and continuous risk assessment during the Testing phase
  • Support validation efforts by acquiring evidence during testing phase, as well as generating validation reports at cycle end
  • Leads individual Projects and acts as the main point of contact/escalation for the testing team
  • Utilizes in-depth product knowledge to anticipate client needs and address complex issues
  • Provides guidance and sets priorities for the Test Engineer on project
  • Displays commitment to excellence
