Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic sourcing initiatives for direct materials related to global manufacturing needs
  • Analyze spend, market trends, and supplier performance to identify cost reduction and service improvement opportunities
  • Develop and execute category strategies that align with manufacturing and enterprise goals, ensuring compliance with FDA and ISO 13485 regulations
  • Manage end-to-end sourcing processes including RFPs, negotiations, vendor evaluation, and contract development
  • Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Quality to ensure contracts meet regulatory and operational requirements
  • Drive supplier selection based on total value, innovation capability, scalability, and risk profile
  • Establish performance metrics (SLAs/KPIs) and lead regular supplier reviews to ensure suppliers meet service, quality, and cost expectations
  • Monitor vendor risk and support the development of contingency and continuity plans across global regions
  • Foster collaborative, strategic relationships with key suppliers to drive innovation and continuous improvement
  • Work closely with Global Manufacturing, IT, Finance, Quality, and Compliance teams to ensure sourcing solutions support business needs and compliance standards
  • Manage project timelines, stakeholder expectations, and communication for all sourcing initiatives
  • Track and report on savings, value realization, and program status to senior leadership
