Requirements

  • Previous experience working in a regulated or manufacturing environment (advantageous)
  • SAS/R programming experience (advantageous)
  • Ability to contribute to and manage a small number of projects
  • Ability to work with colleagues from diverse backgrounds and explain statistical concepts
  • Adaptable with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Strong collaboration and team-working skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide team leadership and statistical expertise for operations/manufacturing departments across the Abbott Diabetes Care (ADC) product range
  • Collaborate with Technical, Manufacturing, Research & Development, Engineering, Quality, and Regulatory colleagues
  • Utilize passion for team leadership, people management, and talent development/mentoring
  • Support transfer of products and processes from Research & Development into Manufacturing for new product launches
  • Investigate and monitor manufacturing, stability, and product performance data to drive continuous improvement
  • Serve as a key individual for development trials and analytical test methods, using statistical background to drive quality and business decisions
