Responsibilities

  • Define, develop, and evolve fail-operational metrics to assess robotaxi journey completion, support services, and the readiness of the network and operational systems
  • Lead and perform hazard analysis to identify potential causes of service disruptions in the operations of robotaxi before they manifest in the field. Identify requirements and suggest risk mitigation strategies
  • Lead initiatives to develop prevention and mitigation strategies for service disruptions, collaborating with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, legal, safety policy, manufacturing) on hardware, software, operational, and process improvements
  • Conduct in-depth system analysis to create comprehensive verification and validation strategies for network and cloud software performance
  • Serve as the primary contact for collaborations with various stakeholders (e.g., Product/Cloud software, Firmware, Vehicle Engineering) and other SDMA subteams (e.g. functional safety, autonomy validation)
  • Author validation clearance reports to support milestone approvals
