Requirements

Candidates must possess a Level 8 Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant discipline, or equivalent technical experience, and have a minimum of 6 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong communication and influencing skills, along with the ability to provide technical leadership and influence others, are required. Candidates should also demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a process improvement orientation, and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

The Senior Staff Process Optimisation Engineer will manage multiple significant Engineering projects through the PMO, provide technical leadership from an engineering perspective, continuously improve process performance, engage in the implementation of lean manufacture within manufacturing, interface with various departments to ensure product quality, drive process troubleshooting, provide development and guidance to team members, lead FMEA’s, review and support the development of FDS and SDS, drive the validation of systems, analyse issues and identify root causes of failures, and ensure timely resolution. They will also define and monitor quality metrics and KPIs, own requirements and design reviews, and work as part of a cross-functional team to ensure system integration and embed testing into the development process.
