Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Over 10 years experience in software development, Product Owner or similar role in an Agile development environment with a strong focus on satellite communications or modem development
  • Understanding of modem technologies, modulation and coding, air interfaces, and software development tools such as containerization, virtualization and cloud technology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly understand complex requirements and prioritize them effectively

Responsibilities

  • Develop and communicate a clear vision for the product, ensuring alignment with the overall business strategy and customer needs
  • Prioritize and maintain the product backlog, ensuring that it accurately reflects the priorities of the business and provides the development team with a clear understanding of what needs to be built
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather and document requirements, ensuring that all user stories are clear, concise, and actionable
  • Break down high-level requirements into actionable user stories, including detailed acceptance criteria and acceptance tests
  • Collaborate with the development team to plan and prioritize releases, balancing the need for new features with the need for stability and maintenance
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the development team and stakeholders, facilitating communication and ensuring that everyone is aligned on priorities and expectations
  • Work closely with the QA team to ensure that all user stories meet the required quality standards before they are released to production
  • Gather feedback from customers and stakeholders and incorporate it into the product backlog, ensuring that the product continues to evolve to meet changing needs and market conditions
