Senior Solution Engineer - ASEAN

Position Overview

SailPoint is seeking a talented, collaborative, determined, and motivated Senior Solution Engineer to join the ASEAN team. As a member of SailPoint’s presales organization, you will work alongside our sales teams to support direct and indirect sales efforts, as well as collaborate with our partners and customers. Your deep understanding of Identity, Governance, User Administration, Access Management, and Cyber Security, combined with excellent communication skills, will be crucial in articulating the value of SailPoint solutions to diverse audiences (technical and non-technical). Success in this role requires expertise in discovering customer requirements, aligning SailPoint solutions to address identity challenges, and demonstrating product capabilities.

The Path to Success at SailPoint

Becoming a successful Solution Engineer at SailPoint involves achieving key milestones:

Within the First Month:

• Complete the "Getting Started Checklist," including pre/post-revenue onboarding coursework, HR onboarding sessions, accessing Identity University, and completing role-specific suggested courses.
• Familiarize yourself with the High-level Function Org Chart, understanding our main business functions and teams.
• Utilize all available video collateral to supplement onboarding training.
• Learn the SailPoint pitch.
• Meet the team: Digital Sales, Account Executives (AEs), Marketing, Channel, and Sales Leadership. Schedule introductory meetings with key stakeholders identified by your manager.
• Meet your buddy and establish bi-weekly meetings and regular 1-to-1s with your manager.
• Listen in on and shadow discovery calls, presentations, and demos extensively.
• Familiarize yourself with key administrative tasks and important metrics.

Within Three Months:

• Complete all assigned training to become "field ready."
• Present SailPoint, the platform, and conduct demos to your manager.
• Continue periodic meetings with your buddy.
• Maintain regularly scheduled meetings with your partnering Account Executives, Digital Sales, Customer Success, and Delivery Services Teams.
• Be ready to execute as a Lead Solution Engineer.
• Understand the RFx response process and tools, and lead your first RFx response.
